Our precious land, Dokdo Island!
As the easternmost point of Korea under the jurisdiction of the Ulleung-gun Office, Dokdo Island has been considered as a Korean territory since the Silla period.
The Japanese government still claims that they acquired sovereignty over Dokdo Island in 1905 which was “terra nullius.”
Nevertheless, it is a beautiful and integral part of the Korean territory historically and geographically, which will be handed over to the future generations.
