Dongbaekdongsan refers to a unique forest developed on a gentle lava plateau created by the flow of low-viscosity Pahoihoi lava. There is a wetland known as Meunmulkak in Dongbaekdongsan, and it has been designated as a Ramsar wetland because of its high conservation autonomy and a variety of animals and plants. In Dongbaekdongsan, various lava landforms such as lava caves, lava hills (tumulus), and collapsed trenches are developing.
